Frequently asked questions
Buying from us, selling to us, and how we work.
What does Kernamic sell?
Kernamic is a wholesale distributor of server memory and enterprise hardware: DDR4 and DDR5 server RAM (RDIMM, LRDIMM, and ECC modules), enterprise SSDs (SATA, SAS, and NVMe), servers and chassis, and server-class CPUs. Inventory rotates, so send part numbers for what is in stock now.
Do you sell new or used hardware?
Both. When you request a quote you can specify new, used, or either, and we quote from current stock accordingly.
How do I get a quote?
Send your part numbers, capacities, speeds, and quantities through the quote form or to sales@kernamic.com. We reply with pricing and availability from current stock. No account is needed.
Do you offer payment terms?
Yes. Approved purchase orders ship on net-30 terms. Tell us on your quote request if you need terms.
Who does Kernamic sell to?
Refurbishers, ITAD firms, data center operators, and other businesses that buy server memory and enterprise hardware in volume.
Does Kernamic buy used server hardware?
Yes. We buy server RAM, enterprise SSDs, servers, chassis, and CPUs. Send your list through the sell form or to purchasing@kernamic.com, and we reply with a quote. Accept it and we send shipping instructions; we ask for photos by email when we need them.
Where can I sell used server RAM?
Kernamic buys used server RAM from companies and individuals anywhere in the United States. You do not need to be near a buyer: the quote happens by email, you ship with our instructions, and payment is issued when the shipment arrives. Refurbishers and ITAD firms also buy memory, usually as part of larger equipment deals.
Do I need to be near Kernamic to buy or sell?
No. We are based in South Florida and trade nationwide. Buying and selling both run on part numbers, email, and freight, so distance does not change the process or the price.
How does selling to Kernamic work?
Send a list of what you are selling: part numbers, quantities, and condition. We reply with a quote; if you accept, we send shipping instructions, and payment is issued once the shipment arrives.
How should I pack server memory for shipping?
Anti-static bags or original trays, packed snug in a rigid box so modules cannot slide against each other. Never ship loose sticks. Our guide to selling used server RAM covers packing, pricing, and inventorying a lot from the labels.
Where is Kernamic located?
Kernamic operates from South Florida and serves buyers and sellers across the United States. Kernamic is a registered fictitious name of Chung Capital LLC.
